Installing the cameras
Live XR uses Azure Kinect sensors and Jetson Xavier NX computers to perform volumetric capture.
4-Sensor Reality Capture setup
Set up the tripods around the perimeter of the capture volume. Each tripod should be positioned 2.5 meters (98.4 inches) from the center of the volume.
Mount one Azure Kinect sensor on each tripod vertically with the RGB camera on top. Each sensor is labeled (NX0 - NX11). Please note the installation location in the preceding image.
Adjust the tripods to set the height of the Azure Kinect sensors as shown in the appropriate diagram above.
Using a daisy-chain configuraton, connect the Sync in and Sync out ports on the Azure Kinect sensors with 3.5mm audio cables to ensure synchronization.

9-Sensor Reality Capture setup
Set up the tripods around the perimeter of the capture volume as shown by the yellow dots in the following image. The tripods are spaced 40 degrees apart around the capture volume. Each tripod should be positioned 2.5 meters (98.4 inches) from the center of the volume.
Note
When using the 9-sensor Reality Capture workflow, the Calibration procedures will be performed twice. For the first calibration, the sensors will be arranged as shown by the yellow dots in the preceding image. For the second calibration and content capture, the sensors will be shifted 20 degrees (each sensor will be moved clockwise halfway to the next sensor) as shown by the magenta dots.

Adjust the tripods to set the height of the Azure Kinect sensors to 125 cm (49-1/4 in).
